Musical Theater I with Sara

Designed to leave the individual confident in their ability to perform an audition, this camp will lead students through preparing an audition song and monologue as well as interactive acting exercises. Students will start with the rudiments of breathing, vocal expression and freer singing. During the week, students will learn both a solo audition song as well as experiment with some choral work. Through beginning acting exercises, improvisation exercises and learning a scene from a popular musical, students will learn the rudiments of physical expression and acting. Fee is $200 Combine with either My Art Shed's or the Harvard Cookin' Girl's camp in the morning to create a full day camp for the week! We will even arrange bringing your child from their camp to ours.

Guitar Rock Band with Josh

Using the basics from the Beginner Guitar Workshop, this camp extends guitar learning to playing in a band that will work together honing their skills in a group format. Songs are determined by the group from a list of popular songs from the following genres: classic rock, pop, grunge, cross-over, and alternative. Guitar Rock Band is both fun and educational, as well as a great way to connect with other musicians. It is open to all levels of guitar students. You do not need to take the first workshop for this camp, but you do need to know guitar playing basics. $150 - for students with their own guitar. Combine with either My Art Shed's or the Harvard Cookin' Girl's camp in the morning to create a full day camp for the week! We will even arrange bringing your child from their camp to ours.
