⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Samir, A Delighted Dad
Christen is a fantastic teacher. She was able to take shy kid that was so embarrassed to participate on day 1, to a confident and passionate soloist who sang his soul out during the final presentation. Both my kids now want to join the class again next year!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thrilled Anonymous Mama
My daughter loves the class! She is shy in general but the lovely small group enviroment makes her feel comfortable and willing to participate. She also enjoyed watching other kids singing.
A group voice class
for Children twelve and under
beginner to intermediate singers
Where children learn to have fun singing on stage, even if they’re shy, quiet, and nervous.
Don’t miss this chance for your child to build their confidence, discipline, and social skills. All while singing songs they love!
Students explore their voices, how to pick a song they can sing well, and how to overcome stage fright!
At the end of 8 weeks, celebrate all they’ve learned and accomplished with a final performance. Friends and families welcome!
Here’s a quick
Class Breakdown
Step one: Warm Up
Kids will make strong, healthy noise to release the pressure of “sounding good.”
Step Two: Practice
They’ll ease into singing by practicing familiar songs with a group.
step Three: Perform
Then they’ll take the next step by practicing singing by themselves, first from their chair, then on stage.
Through 8 weeks of singing songs they love (and learning new ones),
children grow in confidence, develop discipline, and can forge new, life-long friendships.

Have a question?
-
Unfortunately there are no make up classes. However, if a student misses a class, that student may record a video of them singing a solo, send it to the instructor, and the instructor will give personalized feedback, as well as practice suggestions.
-
Of course! Missing the dress rehearsal is not ideal, but students may still perform if they choose.
-
If the student cannot attend the performance, parents and family are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal.
A guardian or chaperone must be with the student at the performance. That guardian is welcome to record the student's performance to share with whoever misses it.
-
We recommend bringing a water bottle and a small snack. Everything else will be there!
-
Since this is a group class, we ask sick students to remain home and miss a class. If you're unsure, the student may come to class wearing a mask.
-
We are happy to offer $100 off for subsequent sibling enrollments.

Meet the Instructor
Christen is passionate about helping students discover and embrace what excites them and what they love. She loves helping students discover their voice and just what they’re capable of. She is particularly passionate about teaching students who think they “can’t sing” or can’t sing “well.” She truly believes that everyone can sing, it just takes time and practice (like everything else!), which is easy when you’re having fun!
Christen sees herself as a student of life; she is always learning. In 2018 she earned her Masters in Opera Performance (with Honors) from the University of Kansas, which is where she learned that she genuinely loves teaching. Since then, she has worked tirelessly to expand what she has to offer students.
She has also learned to embrace the diversity of her artistic passions. While she focused on an opera career for 10 years, she has an incredible passion for musical theatre, film scores, and video games scores. She is also currently writing her debut fantasy novel series, the first of which she hopes to publish by 2026.
