Ari loves playing music and is especially passionate about inspiring others to find the same joy. He believes the best way to learn is by playing music you love. Through personalized lessons and positive encouragement, he aims to support and guide students on their musical journey. Ari strives to build a strong connection with his students, helping them develop confidence and a deeper appreciation for music. He is particularly drawn to jazz and the creative freedom of improvisation.

Ari has been playing jazz for eight years, trumpet for ten, and piano for twelve. He is currently a member of the UCSD Jazz Ensemble and an alumnus of the award-winning Berkeley High Jazz Ensemble, where he won a soloist award at the Folsom Jazz Festival. From 2022 to 2024, Ari played lead trumpet in the California Jazz Conservatory studio band, a finalist in DownBeat magazine’s competition. He has toured Europe, performing at jazz festivals and concerts, and regularly plays in small combos at various venues in his hometown of Berkeley. Ari has also mentored young musicians at all levels through private lessons.
