For more than 60 years, La Jolla Music has been helping students discover the joy of making music. Since 1962, we've served the La Jolla community by creating a place where aspiring musicians of all ages can learn, grow, and connect through music.

Today, our community is powered by more than 25 independent, professional music educators who bring real-world experience, passion, and expertise to every lesson. Together, they offer instruction in piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, banjo, drums, voice, songwriting, strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, and more—providing students with the opportunity to find the teacher who best matches their goals, interests, and learning style.

Beyond private lessons, La Jolla Music offers a growing collection of courses and group programs designed to create memorable musical experiences, build confidence, and foster community.
