This eight-week, 45min each week, music camp will introduce students to the fundamentals of music and note reading, while developing their keyboard skills and ensemble playing experience.

Taught by Dr. Tatev Amiryan

Dr. Amiryan is an award-winning composer, pianist, and music educator. She has 25 years of experience as a professional pianist and composer, and over 15 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Composition and Musicology with a minor in Piano, and a DMA Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Composition. She has taught at San Jose State University, University of Silicon Valley, University of Missouri, SAE Institute San Jose, and Crowden Music School in Berkeley. She is also instructing at U.C. San Diego.
