Music is fun. This has been Harrison’s guiding motto throughout his musical journey. He believes that when music feels like work rather than enjoyment, it’s difficult to build true love for it. To keep lessons engaging, Harrison carefully tailors each session to every student’s goals and interests. His teaching centers around learning songs students love, using them as the foundation for technique and musical growth. This approach allows each student to develop their own unique path as a musician, shaped by the music they enjoy most. From jazz to metal, it will be hard to find a genre Harrison doesn’t play.

Harrison is a second-year student at UC San Diego and has been playing guitar for over 10 years in a wide variety of bands. With more than 3 years of teaching experience, he has guided many students in discovering their love for music. Outside of teaching, Harrison continues to perform, practice, and create —always keeping music as fun and inspiring as possible.
