Jason is an accomplished Rhythmic Educator, Drummer, and Percussionist with over 40 years of experience in musicianship and teaching. His philosophy makes rhythm accessible to students of all ages and skill levels, emphasizing that anyone can play drums. By breaking down complex concepts like syncopation, groove, and stick control into simple, soul-enriching steps, he inspires students to unlock their rhythmic potential.

Classically trained at The Hartt School of Music from age five, Jason developed a deep understanding of rhythm fundamentals. He specializes in teaching independence in drumming, downbeat stability, and mastery across genres like rock, funk, and blues. His dynamic approach makes learning rhythm attainable and fun.

Jason has played professionally since the age of 14, starting as a drummer playing with world-renowned jazz pianist Brad Mehldau, and later as the touring drummer in an award-winning, original rock band. He brings lifelong passion and real-world experience to his teaching, helping students build confidence and fluency on the drum set and percussion.
