Jenny Peckham has always loved music, especially playing the piano, and she feels lucky to have been able to teach it to others for many years. She believes that each student is special and that every lesson should be a little different to help them learn in the best way. Jenny’s students usually do really well because she always encourages them with kind words and praise!

Jenny started playing the piano when she was only 2 years old! When she was 7, she started learning from a very famous teacher named Olive Endres, who is connected to some of the best musicians ever. At 16, Jenny went to Oberlin Conservatory to study music where she helped other students learn about singing and listening to music by teaching them things like Sight- Singing and Ear-Training.

Jenny moved to San Diego in 1989 and has been teaching music there ever since. She calls herself the “Sticker Queen” because she loves giving out fun stickers! She is kind, funny, and always patient. She wants learning music to be fun for everyone!
