Whether students are just beginning or preparing for auditions, Michael works to develop thoughtful, disciplined musicians who take pride in their growth and enjoy making music. He takes a holistic approach to teaching, balancing high standards with an engaging and supportive environment. He believes that every student can develop strong technique, musical expression, and confidence when given the right tools and encouragement—while still enjoying the process of learning.

Lessons are tailored to each individual, combining structured technical work with creative exploration so students not only improve, but understand how to practice effectively and perform with confidence.

Michael previously served as Head Orchestra Director for Enid Public Schools and as Director of Student and Teacher Support with El Sistema Oklahoma. He has played with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Oklahoma Chamber Symphony, and Enid Symphony Orchestra.
