Let me help you take your guitar playing to the next level, learning songs that you love to gain a better understanding of your instrument. I teach Jazz, Blues, Pop and Rock. Each lesson contains elements of music theory, performance coaching, and vocals (as appropriate). As a music producer, I can help you with songwriting, arrangements and recording skills.

Piers Lawrence is a soulful jazz guitarist and songwriter who worked for over 20 years as a professional musician in New York City. He is the founder of Jazz Net Media Inc. an independent record label & media company that produced his internationally acclaimed CD "Stolen Moments". He has played many of the finest venues in the country and is currently playing Solo Jazz Guitar every Friday evening at Quigley Fine Wines in Downtown.

Piers studied Guitar and Composition at the Conservatoire de Musique de Lausanne. He's played with the Jazz-Mobile Orchestra and studied with jazz greats Barry Galbraith and Ted Dunbar. Broadway show credits include Guys and Dolls, Dancin', and Hubie.
