Zach has been teaching for over 10 years and takes pride in personalizing every lesson to each student's skill level, goals, and needs. His passion as a teacher is not only to help his students become better musicians, but to guide them toward finding joy & creativity in their music and in life.

Zach has spent the last 20+ years performing with several bands, taking the stage for the first time at age 6. He has shared stages with Grammy Winning Jazz musician Jacob Collier and Rock groups like Foreigner. Currently he is performing less-regularly while working as a Producer, Composer, and Mix Engineer out of “Road Closed Studios” based in Pacific Beach.

Zach composed and performed all of the music for the recent "First 5 California" campaigns focusing on childhood stress and mental health!

Zach can teach a wide array of genres such as Rock, Pop, Folk, Blues, Hip-Hop, and Funk/Fusion. He offers his first lesson free!
